We (Uwe DJ9HX, Hans DL6JGN, Ron PA3EWP and Ernoe DK2AMM) are glad to inform you that our group will be on from the Pitcairn Islands (IOTA OC-044). The operate period is of February 16th to March 5th 2017.
Our QTH is outside of Adamstown on the top of a hill near the old Radio Station. It is 265 m above sea level and has a drop into the sea with an excellent take off to EU/USA. Our host is Andrew Randall Christian and he will supply us with 24 h electrical power. Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. We will use two stations (2x K3, 1x Expert 1,3k-FA and 1x 600 Watts homemade amplifier), a Hexbeam, vertical antennas and 5 el. Yagi for 6m. One station running 24/7.
Subject to a reliable Internet connection, we will upload the log to Clublog on a daily basis. Otherwise the complete log will be uploaded upon our return.
