AF-045. (Update/Reminder) Operators John/6W7JX, Ouzin/6W1PZ, Tafa/6W1KI and Jul/6W1QL will be active as 6V1A from Goree Island between December 15-17th. Activity will be on CW and SSB on all HF bands using two stations: a FT-1000 and Icom 7300 with 150

AS-015. Rich, PA0RRS, is once again active as 9M2MRS from Penang

AS-015; 9M2, Pinang State group: Rich/PA0RRS will be operating as
9M2MRS from Penang Island (WLOTA 2952) between Dec. 1 and Jan. 31

AS-058; 9M2, Perlis/ Kedah State group: The Kuala Lumpur DX Team is
going to pay Langkawi Island from the 2nd to 4th of December. QRV

EU-027; JW, Bear Island (Bjornoya): Erik/LA2US returns to Bear Island for six month from December until June next year. QRV during his spare time as JW2US on CW and digital modes (RTTY, FT8, PSK).

Island activities:

AF-019. (Cancelled) Emilio, IZ1GAR, will not be active as IH9/IZ1GAR from Pantelleria Island (IIA TP-001, WLOTA 0041) between November 24-28th. He had to cancel his plans due to work.
Instead, he will be active from Sanremo as IZ1GAR during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 25-26th), as a Single-Op/Single Band 80m)/High-Power entry. QSL via IZ1GAR, direct or by the Bureau.


AS-107. Operators Chai/E20WXA, Rit/HS2AAW and Kim/HS2JQC will be active as E20WXA/P, HS2AAW/P and HS2JQC/P, respectively, from Ko Lan
Island between November 25-26th. QSL via E20WXA.


NA-072. Operators Stefan/HP1DRK, Massimo/HP1MAC, Ricardo/HP1RIS and Gianni/HP1YLS will be active as H91IT from Taboga Island between
January 6-9th, 2018. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via HP1RCP.


NA-075. Mikhail, VE7ACN, will be active as VE7ACN/7 from Galiano Island between November 24-27th. Activity will be on 160-10 meters
including the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 25-26th). QSL via his home callsign, ClubLog's OQRS or LoTW. For more details,

OC-042. Chris, F4EBK, will be active as DU3/F4EBK from Baliuag City,
Bulacan Province, Luzon Island, Philippines, sometime during February 2018. Activity will be on 20/15/10 meters using a rotating dipole with 100w maybe 1Kw. Listen for QSL route.


OC-179. Cezar, VE3LYC, has announced this past week he will be active
from Taumako Island, the largest in the Duff Islands group in the Temotu Province, sometime in early May 2018. The operation will last for a period of at least 5 days, but the entire trip is expected to take 12 days. Look for more details to be forthcoming.

RODRIGUES ISLAND, 3B9. Olof, G0CKV is QRV as 3B9HA until December 12. Activity is holiday style on the HF bands using CW and possibly FT8. He will be a Single Op/All Band entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL to M0OXO.

GEORGIA, 4L. Operator 4L2M plans to be QRV as a Single Op/Single Band on 20 meters entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL via EA7FTR.

MONTENEGRO, 4O. Ark, UA4CC is QRV as 4O7CC until November 30. Activity is on the HF bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes, including FT8. This includes an entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL to home call.

TONGA, A3. Hiro, JA6WFM will be QRV as A31MM from Nuku'alofa on Tongatapu Island, IOTA OC-049, as a Single Op/Single Band on 15 meters entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL via EA4GL.

OMAN, A4. Members of the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society will be QRV as A44A as a Multi/Multi entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL via operators' instructions.

CHINA, BY. Stations B1Z and B7Q will be QRV in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL B1Z via EA7FTR and B7Q via BA1DU, respectively.

THE GAMBIA, C5. Andre, ON7YK is QRV as C5YK from Kerr Serign until January 30, 2018. Activity is on 40, 20, 17 and 15 meters using mostly digital modes, with a focus on FT8, and some CW. QSL via operator's instructions.

MADEIRA ISLANDS, CT3. Operator OK6TA is QRV as CT9/OK6TA until November 27. He plans to be a Single Op/Single Band on 40 meters entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL to home call.

GUADELOUPE, FG. Oliver, F6ARC is QRV as FG/F6ARC until November 29. Activity is holiday style on the HF bands using only CW. He will be a Single Op/Single Band on 15 meters entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL via FE11DX.

FRENCH GUIANA, FY. Hartwig, DL7BC will be QRV as FY/DL7BC/p near Cayenne from November 26 to December 7. QSL direct to home call.

GUERNSEY, GU. Bob, GU4YOX plans to be a Single Op/Single Band on 15 meters entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL to home call.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, HC8. A group of operators will be QRV as HC8LUT from San Cristobal Island from November 29 to December 8. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using mainly SSB, and also PSK31, JT65, WSPR and FT8. This also includes satellite activity on both the FM and analog satellites. They may also have a 6 meter beacon. QSL via IK2DUW.

THAILAND, HS. A group of operators will be QRV as HS0ZAR from the Ban Ta Bong, Korat province as a Multi/2 entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL via K3ZO.

ARUBA, P4. John, W2GD is QRV as P40W until November 28. Activity is on the HF bands. This includes being an entry in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest. QSL direct to N2MM.

SURINAME, PZ. Members of the Voodoo Contest Group will be QRV as PZ5V from Paramaribo in the CQ World Wide DX CW contest as a Multi/2 entry. QSL via M0URX.

Island activities:
IOTAs Accepted: Craig, VK5CE, reports to "DXNews.com" that the VK9AR Ashmore Reef (OC-216) and VK9AR/6 Browse Island (OC-234) have both been accepted for IOTA credit.

AF-050. See "5T, MAURITANIA (Also IOTA Op)" above for details.

AS-024. Takayoshi, JA7GAX, will be active from Kuro Island (Yaeyama
Islands) [JIA 47-141, GL PL14XF, JAFF 0011, JCG 47005 (B) Taketomi-cho,Yaeyama-gun, Okinawa, JAPAN] between 0700z, November 23rd and 0700z, November 28th.
Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW only.
Suggested frequencies are:
1912(JA), 1812/1844(DX), 3512, 7012, 10130, 14044, 18084, 21044, 24904, 28044 and 50044 kHz. This operation is subject to change in bad WX or other conditions. QSL via JA7GAX, by the Bureau or QRZ.com.


AS-079. Take, JS6RRR/JI3DST, will once again be active as JS6RRR
(sometime as JI3DST/6) from Miyako Island between 0000z, November 23rd and 0000z, November 28th. Activity will be on 160/80/40/30/20/17/ 15/12/10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and JT65.
Operations may vary in case of heavy rains or other conditions.
QSL routes are as follows: QSL JS6RRR via JS6RRR and JI3DST/6 via JI3DST. Via the Bureau is best. Please check QRZ.com for more details.


EU-077. A Spanish team was active as EG1ET this past weekend from Salvora Island. Operators mentioned were Quique/EA1DFP, Manuel/EA1ET, Jose/EA1RG, Iban/EA2DLX, Ramon/EA2DXW, Isma/EA2ELB, Juan/EA2RC and Antonio/EA2VE. QSL via EA1ET.

OC-090. (Update) Jack, SP5APW, is nown active as DU1/SP5APW from Busuanga Island until possibly November 23rd. Activity is on only 20/17
meters SSB. QSL via dirext, by the Bureau or LoTW.


OC-150. Amir, YB9IPY, will be active as YB9IPT/p from Lombok Island
between November 20-24th. Activity will be on 40/20/15 meters using SSB. QSL via IK2DUW. Look for the log to be uploaded to ClubLog.
