MAURITANIA, 5T. Jean, ON8RA is QRV with the special call sign 5T0ITU until December 31, and tentatively active during ITU events. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW. QSL to home call.

WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2. A group of operators will be QRV as 9M4LI from Lalang-Lalang Island, IOTA AS-072, from February 3 to 5. Activity will be on various HF bands and modes. QSL direct to 9W2NDQ.

TONGA, A3. A group of operators are QRV as A35NN from Tongatapu Island, IOTA OC-049, until January 31. Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. This includes being active as A35W in the CQ World Wide 160 Meter CW contest. QSL via operators' instructions.

AZORES, CU. Antonio, CU8AS will be QRV as CU9AB from Corvo Island, IOTA EU-089, during the CQ World Wide 160 Meter CW contest. QSL via HB9CRV.

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA. Special event station DB20ENERGY is QRV until the end of 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the German company DB Energie. QSL via bureau.

PUERTO RICO, KP4. W1AW/KP4 is QRV until January 29 during the ARRL Puerto Rico State Convention. Activity is on the HF bands, and possibly 2 meters, using CW, SSB, various digital modes, and FM. QSL to W1AW.

CURACAO, PJ2. Jeff, K8ND is QRV as PJ2/K8ND. He will be QRV as PJ2T during the CQ World Wide 160 Meter CW contest. QSL PJ2/K8ND direct via K8ND and PJ2T via W3HNK.

SURINAME, PZ. Matt, K0BBC plans to be QRV as PZ5W from Lelydorp until January 30. Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using SSB and various digital modes. QSL via N0AT.

WESTERN SAHARA, S0. Station S01WS has been QRV on 160 meters around 0200 to 0300z. QSL via operator's instructions.

CRETE, SV9. Keijo, OG55W and Raili, OH2NOD are QRV as SV9/OG55W and SV9/OH2NOD, respectively, from Rethymno, IOTA EU-015, until April 10. Activity is on the HF bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL via operators' instructions.

CENTRAL AFRICA, TL. A group of operators will be QRV as TL8TT from February 1 to 14. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and various digital modes. RTTY will be restricted to 20 meters. QSL via operators' instructions.

KALININGRAD, UA2. Special event stations R1336FO and R680FBO are QRV until April 20 during the celebration of the 680th anniversary of the town of Chernyakhovsk. QSL via R2FBO.

KAZAKHSTAN, UN. In celebration of the 2017 28th Winter Games taking place in Almaty between January 29 and February 8, amateur radio operators from the Association of Amateur Radio Services of Kazakhstan will be QRV with the special UP28 prefix. QSL via operators' instructions.

CANADA, VE. Special event station VE100VIMY/VE5 will be QRV from January 29 to February 4. QSL via N7RO.

INDONESIA, YB. Manu, F5LIT is QRV as YB9/F5LIT from Bali, IOTA OC-022, until February 7. Activity is on 20, 17 and 15 meters using SSB. QSL direct to home call.

ALBANIA, ZA. Pertti, OG2M and Martti, OH2BH are QRV as ZA/home calls and will be active in the CQ World Wide 160 Meter CW contest.

XF2L – Isla Sacrificios NA-224



XE1SPM, XE1SGW and XE1SOV have announced they will be active from the rare Isla Sacrificios NA-224 as XF2L during the American Lighthouse weekend (February 17-19, 2017).
A note on the XF2L QRZ page says: “restricted to sunlight operation 15:00 to 22:00 UTC. This island closed the last 34 years”.
Furthermore, activity from Isla de Lobos NA-221 is also planned for March and May 2017.

AS-022. Operators Yuri/R2DG, Vasily/R7AA and Eugene/UA6EX will be active as RI0LI from Leont'yeva Island, Medvezhyi (Bear) Islands, in the East Siberia Sea, sometime during the third week in July. Activity will be on various HF bands. Look for more information and a Web page to be forthcoming.

AS-026. Taka, JA8COE, will be active as HL4/JA8COE from Cheju Island,

NA-019. Chris, VK3FY, will be active as KL7/VK3FY from Kodiak Island,
Alaska, sometime in July. Activity will be on various HF bands.

OC-022. Emmanuel, F5LIT, will once again be active as YB9/F5LIT from

SA-024. Members of the CDR Group will be active as ZW2R from Comprida Island (ARLHS BRA-135, DFB SP-12, DIB SP-03) between and during the 9th South America Lighthouse Weekend, February 17-19th.

Island activities:
NA-170. Max, IZ2ZTQ, is now active as HP2/IZ2ZTQ from 
San Blas Archipelago until the end of February. Activity will be on various HF bands (check IOTA frq). QSL via IZ2LSP, direct, LoTW or eQSL.

OC-166. Adhi, YB3MM, will be active as YB3MM/7 from the following
islands within North Bornoe Province:
January 25-26th -- Nunukan Island
January 27-29th -- Tarakan Island
Activity will be with low power into a multi-band vertical antenna.
If propagation is poor, he will focus on 30/20 meters CW.
All dates are tentative and can change according to his transportation.


OC-227. Lyn, VK4EI/VK4SWE, will be active on Sweers Island until
January 26th. Look for VK4SWE on SSB and VK4EI on CW. 

Activity will be mostly on 20 and 15 meters. QSL via NR6M.

OC-237. Adhi, YB3MM, will be active from Nusa Barung Island. More
details will be forthcoming.


OC-295. Adhi, YB3MM, will be active as YB3MM/7 from Sebatik Island
in the North Bornoe Province between January 21-24th. 

Activity will be with low power into a multi-band vertical antenna. If propagation is poor, he will focus on 30/20 meters CW. The dates are tentative and can change according to his transportation.

AS-153. Members of the West Bengal Amateur Radio Club (VU2MQT) will be active as AU2WBR from Sagar Island between January 9-17th.
Their activity coincides with the 2017 Ganga Sagar Mela pilgrimage, and will be on various HF bands. QSL via VU2NRO.


NA-041. Mikhail, VE7ACN, will be active as KL7/VE7ACN from Prince of
Wales Island between March 8-20th. Activity will be on the various IOTA frequencies and HF bands. He will focus on 160/80/30 meters. QSL via his home callsign, direct, by the Bureau or ClubLog's OQRS.


NA-061. Mikhail, VE7ACN, will once again be active as VE7ACN/7 from
Kaien Island (CISA BC-005) between March 21-26th. Activity will be on the various IOTA frequencies and HF bands. QSL via his home callsign, direct, by the Bureau or ClubLog's OQRS.


OC-177. A group of Indonesian operators will be active as YE0S from
Sebira Island, part of Seribu Islands, north of the Jakarta City, between March 20-27th. The Sebira Island is the outer-most island of Jakarta Special Capital City Distric of the Republic of Indonesia.
Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. Operators mentioned are Ferry/YB0AR, Wisnu/YB0AZ, Sugiyanto/YB0BUI, Ferry/YB0CBI, Budi/YB0HD (Team Leader), Sur/YB0JS, Joy/YB0NSI, Yadi/YB0YAD (Co-Leader) and possibly others.
An Online QSL Request Service (OQRS) will be used for this DXpedition, and if you want a direct QSL, you will need to send minimum 3 USDs for each card to cover the cost of the postage to your country. Maximum five QSOs on one QSL card.
