SAMOA, 5W. Bert, CX3AN will be QRV as 5W0HA from Upolu Island, IOTA OC-097, from August 19 to 26. Activity will be holiday style on the HF bands. QSL direct to home call.
LESOTHO, 7P. Quintus, ZS2KU and Vaughan, ZS2VR are QRV as 7P8QM and 7P8VRR, respectively, from the Sani Pass Region until August 21. Activity is on 20 and 15 meters. QSL to home calls.
CUBA, CO. A group of operators will be QRV as T45FM from the Faro Puta Maya Lighthouse, ILLW CU-005, during the International
Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be with six stations active on all bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL direct to RW6HS.
PORTUGAL, CT. A group of operators from the Nucleo de Radioamadores da Armada will be QRV as CR1FF from the Farol da Ponta Ferraria Lighthouse on Sao Miguel Island, IOTA EU-003, during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity is on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL via CS5NRA.
SABLE ISLAND, CY0. Aaron, VA1AXC is QRV as CYO/VA1AXC until the end of August. He is active on 20 meters using SSB. QSL via JE1LET.
FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA. Operators DH3WO, DJ2HD, DJ2BQ and DL3DXX will be QRV as DA2017LH from Fluegge Lighthouse during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on 80 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via DJ2HD.
PHILIPPINES, DU. Dale, KE0BRZ, is QRV as DU1/KE0BRZ from Palawan until August 22. Activity is holiday style on 20 meters using SSB and QRP power. QSL direct to home call.
SPAIN, EA. A group of operators will be QRV as EG1LWV from the Faro Cabo Vilano Lighthouse during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. QSL via EA1HNP.
FRENCH POLYNESIA, FO. Operators F6BCW and F6DTZ are QRV as TX5EG from Moorea until September 5. They may also be active as FO/F6BCW and FO/F6DTZ, respectively. Activity is on 80 to 12 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK. QSL via operators' instructions.
REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HL. Members of the Gwangju DX Club are QRV as D73G from Ap'ae Island, IOTA AS-060, until August 20. Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL via 6L0NJ.
PANAMA, HP. Members of the Radio Club de Panama will be QRV as 3E1L from the Canal Miraflores Lighthouse during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. QSL via HP1RCP.
POLAND, SP. Special event station HF700LUB is QRV until August 2018 to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the city Lublin. Activity is on the HF bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes. MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7. Randy, WW6RG will be QRV as V73/WW6RG from Kwajalein Atoll from August 21 to 24. Activity will be on 14205 kHz using SSB between 0300 and 0730z. QSL to home call.
INDIA, VU. Members of the Goa Radio Amateurs Society will be QRV as AU2LH from the Betul Lighthouse during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL direct to VU2YQ.
MEXICO, XE. Members of the Radioexperimentadores de Campeche will be QRV as 4A3AA from the Isla Aguada Lighthouse during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. QSL via XE3AA.
CAMBODIA, XU. Rene, F6CTW is QRV as XU7AEZ from Phnom Penh until August 29. Activity is on 20 meters using CW. QSL direct to home call.
INDONESIA, YB. Special event station YB67TJG will be QRV from August 20 to 27 to mark the founding of the province Jawa Tengah 67 years ago. This includes operations from the Borobudur Central Java Amateur Radio Fair 2017. QSL via operators' instructions.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO The ARRL Rookie Roundup RTTY, ARRL 10 GHz and Up Contest, International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend, QRP 20-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint, NCCC Sprint CW Ladder, SARTG World Wide RTTY Contest, Russian District Award Contest, Keyman's Club of Japan CW Contest, Feld Hell Sprint, North American SSB QSO Party, CVA DX CW Contest and SARL HF Digital Contest will certainly keep contesters busy this upcoming weekend.
The Solar Eclipse QSO Party and Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest are scheduled for August 21.
The CWops Mini-CWT CW Test, SKCC CW Sprint and Phone Fray are scheduled for August 23.
